Join the Birmingham Panthers: Coaches, Umpires and Team Managers Needed!

Are you passionate about netball and eager to contribute to the development of emerging talent?

 

The Birmingham Panthers are looking for dedicated coaches, umpires, and team managers to support our NPL squads, Player Development Programmes (PDP), and Emerging Talent Programmes (ETP). We offer both paid and voluntary roles, providing an exciting opportunity to be part of our mission to help give young people across the West Midlands the chance to fulfil their netball potential.

 

Roles Available:

  • Head Coach: Must have a minimum Level 2 qualification, first aid certification, DBS check, and safeguarding training. This is a paid role.
  • Assistant Coach: Requires the same qualifications as the head coach and is also a paid role.
  • Technical Coach: Similar qualifications required, offering paid opportunities.
  • Development Coach: Requires a minimum Level 1 qualification, working towards Level 2, or recently qualified at Level 2, along with first aid, DBS, and safeguarding. This is a voluntary CPD opportunity.
  • Umpire: Must hold a minimum C award or be working towards it. Paid opportunities are available.
  • Team Managers: Should have first aid and safeguarding certifications, experience in a netball environment, and be comfortable with scoring systems. Both paid and voluntary roles are available.

 

Commitment:

  • NPL Coach: 6-8 hours per week, including 2 weekly sessions and match days.
  • PDP Coach: 3 hours per week.
  • ETP Coach: 3 hours per week.
  • Technical Coach: At least 6 hours per month.
