Do I need prior experience to volunteer at events?

While prior experience is a bonus, it is not essential.

Will volunteers receive any training or support before their roles?

Absolutely. Volunteers will be invited to arrive early on the day of the event for a walkaround. We’ll provide information sheets and, if necessary, specific training tailored to your role.

Is there an age limit for volunteering with the franchise?

Yes, we are looking for volunteers aged 18 and over. However, we may also reach out to our pathways for additional support.

Yes, junior tickets are available for those aged 16 or under, starting from just £10.

What is your policy on ticket refunds or exchanges?

Tickets are non-refundable and cannot be exchanged unless the event is cancelled or rescheduled.

Are group ticket options available for schools, clubs, or corporate groups?

Is there wheelchair-accessible seating available?

How can I access my tickets after purchase?

Tickets will be emailed to you approximately 7–10 days before match day. You can also view and manage your bookings by logging into your ticket account: Ticket Login.

What should I do if I lose my ticket, or it doesn’t arrive?

If you lose access to the email account used for your purchase, log into your ticketing account and update your details: Update Ticket Details. Your tickets will then be sent to your new email.

If the match is within the next seven days and you haven't received your ticket, please contact us at contactus@birminghampanthers.com for assistance.

How does my child, pupil, or player in my junior team join the pathway?

To join the Birmingham Panthers Netball Pathway, players can join through various routes, depending on their age and level of experience. Our pathway is designed to identify and develop talented players from across the West Midlands and Gloucestershire regions.

What are the routes into the pathway at different ages, and which part of the pathway would a player join?

Do you hold trials?

Yes, trials are held at various points in the year for different age groups.

Information about trials, including dates, venues, and registration details, will be posted on our website and social media channels. Parents, coaches, and players can also subscribe to our newsletter for updates.

Do you come and watch school matches/junior league matches to assess players?

Yes, our talent scouts attend school and junior league matches regularly. If you believe a player has potential, you can contact us to request a visit or share match details. While we try to accommodate requests, our availability depends on scheduling and resource constraints.

Will you come and look at a potential player, or can we send in a video?

We are happy to assess potential players either by attending a match or reviewing submitted video footage. Videos should showcase a range of skills (for instance attacking play, defensive efforts, and gameplay scenarios) and provide context such as the team, age group, and competition level.

What types of community events do Birmingham Panthers organise?

What are the Birmingham Panthers Netball Camps?

When and where are the camps held?

Who are the camps suitable for, and what age groups can attend?

Camps are open to various age groups, with specific sessions designed for juniors, teens, and adults. Usually, they are targeted for those aged between seven and 16 years old and are designed for both recreational and competitive-level athletes. Meals are not provided and participants should bring their own packed lunch, snacks, and water bottles. Some venues may have refreshments available for purchase. If we are offering a residential camp, meals will be organised on an as-and-when basis. This will be made clear in the registration link.

Do participants need prior netball experience to attend?

No prior experience is required to attend the community camps. Players of all abilities are welcome, as sessions are tailored to suit different skill levels, ensuring everyone learns and improves.

What safety measures are in place during the camps?

Safety is our top priority. All camps are run by qualified coaches who are first-aid trained and DBS-checked. Emergency protocols, risk assessments, and proper supervision are in place to ensure a safe and enjoyable experience for every participant.

Can parents stay and watch during the sessions?

Parents are welcome to watch during designated viewing times, coaches will let you know what time this would be as per the specific session. Parents are encouraged to return for the match play. However, for the skills-based portion of the camp, we encourage parents to allow their children to fully immerse themselves in the experience.

What are Birmingham Panthers Player Masterclasses?

Birmingham Panthers Player Masterclasses are specialised training sessions led by our experienced coaches and NSL players.
